The "Grand Jordanian Canyon"

The Jordanian Grand Canyon is actually known as Wadi Mudjib. Wadi Mujib, known from the Hebrew Bible as River Arnon, is a river in Jordan which enters the Dead Sea c 420 metres below sea level.  The sheer vastness of this location is hard to take in.
